What we are, and what we are not
Summary. awarding.me is an independent broker. We help institutions find the right awarding organisation, university partner or quality assurance expertise. Qualifications and academic awards are issued by the relevant authorised body, not by us.
What we are not
- An awarding organisation or awarding body
- A university or degree-awarding body
- A qualifications regulator or government agency
- An accreditation authority or quality agency
We do not award qualifications, grant credit, or decide centre approval or accreditation. Those decisions belong to the relevant bodies.
How we are paid
Independence does not mean we have no commercial relationships. We may:
- charge institutions for our advisory services;
- provide services to awarding organisations and universities for a fee; and
- receive fees or commission linked to partnerships we help establish.
We disclose any relevant commercial relationship to you before you make a decision.
Recognition
Whether a qualification or award is recognised in a particular country is decided by the competent authorities there. We will tell you where recognition should be checked, but we cannot guarantee it.
